their years in the Group Travel Industry. Combining their
knowledge of the destinations where you would like to travel

Dave is a life long resident of Brooke County in West
Virginia. Over the years, he has been involved in many
community organizations and has often volunteered his time
to coach children in a youth basketball league. He and
his wife, Edith, have been married for thirty-three
years. They have two adult children, Shannon and Brad
and two grandchildren, Chole, age two and Brody who is eight
months.
Dave holds a Bachelor and Master’s
Degree in Education. He taught school and coached
basketball and baseball for several years at the junior high
level in Wintersville, Ohio. It was during this time
that Dave developed an avid interest in student
travel. He sponsored a trip with his students,
realizing how beneficial it would be for them to travel to
destinations they had only previously read about in history
books. The whole experience was entirely
positive. The trip was the highlight of his students'
school year. As a result, he began his career in the
student travel industry.
In the past 24 years Dave has become
knowledgeable in all aspects of the tour industry.
Along with being a licensed Washington, D.C. tour guide, he
has traveled extensively throughout the United States and
Canada providing him with the knowledge needed to plan
exciting educational trips for students. In fact, most
of the groups who began traveling with Dave in 1980 are
still doing so today. Plus, he has established a great
relationship and reputation with numerous hotels,
restaurants and attractions in the cities he tours.
This offers him many options when planning a trip. No
detail, however small, will be overlooked.
Dave encourages all group sponsors to
contact him when planning a class field trip. He is
available to assist you with all the preparations needed to
insure a successful trip and will be glad to meet with you
at your convenience.
